Vendor Terms and Conditions

Welcome to PocketYourDeal, an online marketplace connecting vendors with customers. Please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions before becoming a vendor on our platform.

1. Agreement Acceptance

By registering as a vendor on PocketYourDeal, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PocketYourDeal.

2. Vendor Obligations

• • Accurate Information: Vendors must provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding their products, pricing, inventory, and other relevant details.

• • Product Quality: Ensure that products meet quality standards and accurately represent the provided descriptions.

• • Order Fulfillment: Vendors are responsible for fulfilling orders promptly and providing accurate shipment details.

• • Customer Service: Offer excellent customer service to resolve queries, complaints, or issues related to products or orders.

• • Compliance: Adhere to all local, national, and international laws and regulations regarding product sales, shipping, and taxation.

3. Platform Fee

• • Platform Fee: PocketYourDeal charges a platform fee of 7% on the total sales value generated through our platform. This fee is deducted from the vendor’s earnings before remittance.

• • Subject to Change: Vendors are advised to review the charges frequently, as the platform fee percentage is subject to change at any time.

4. Shipping Responsibility

• • Vendor Shipping Responsibility: Vendors are responsible for shipping the products directly to customers. It is the vendor’s responsibility to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to the designated addresses provided by order id. We do not cover any shipping charges for product shipments. Shipping fees and courier services are chosen and paid for by vendors independently, based on their preferences.

• • Option for Platform Shipping Services: Alternatively, vendors may opt to use PocketYourDeal’s shipping services for product delivery. In such cases, the vendor will be charged based on the courier company’s shipping rates and guidelines. Details regarding shipping charges will be provided separately and are subject to change by PocketYourDeal.

5. Payments

• Earnings Payout: After deducting the platform fee, courier charges, and refund amounts, sales earnings will be remitted to the vendor’s designated account upon withdrawal request.
  1. The platform fee will be automatically deducted at the current rate.
  2. The refund amount refers to what we pay to the customer. Refund amounts are not automatically deducted from earnings, so they will show as earnings. We will pay the actual amount after refunds are deducted.
  3. Courier charges will be calculated as Rs. 30 per item which is not eligible for free delivery and Rs. 65 per item which is eligible for free delivery.
• Transaction Fees: Vendors are responsible for any transaction fees associated with receiving payments.
• Technical Discrepancies: If any technical fault occurs and the total withdrawn amount shown is greater or lower than the sum of the seller’s earnings per orders, the seller must share a screenshot and order details, which are downloadable as an Excel file, to facilitate the transfer of the actual earning amount. The seller must accept that if the withdrawn amount was shown to be greater than the earnings due to a technical fault, PocketYourDeal is not liable to pay that amount. PocketYourDeal will only pay the actual earnings amount after deducting all charges.

6. Termination

• • Account Suspension: PocketYourDeal reserves the right to suspend or terminate a vendor’s account in case of non-compliance with these terms, unethical practices, or legal violations.

• • Notice of Termination: Vendors will be given notice of account termination or suspension, allowing them to address any issues within a specified timeframe.

7. Liability

• • Limitation of Liability: PocketYourDeal shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform.

• • Indemnification: Vendors agree to indemnify and hold PocketYourDeal harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from their actions or products.

8. Changes to Terms

• • Vendor Responsibility to Review: Vendors must frequently review the Terms and Conditions for any updates or modifications. Changes may occur without direct notification to vendors.

  • Acceptance of Updated Terms: Continued use of the platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.

9. Use of Product Information for Advertisement

• Advertisement Purposes: PocketYourDeal reserves the right to use all pictures and product details uploaded by vendors for advertisement purposes. This may include but is not limited to featuring products in promotional materials, advertisements, or marketing campaigns.

• Sharing with Third Parties: PocketYourDeal may share product information with third parties for advertisement, promotion, or other business purposes deemed appropriate by the company.
